Close your eyes. Be still. Just breathe.
Imagine the warmth of a summer evening slowly settling over the city. The sounds around you begin to soften. Your body rests comfortably on the earth beneath you. Your breath becomes slower, deeper. Little by little, your attention shifts away from everything happening around you and returns to the one place it has been waiting for all along: within.
“A butterfly only lands on quiet hands.”
— Michael James Wong
This special outdoor evening is an invitation to cultivate that quiet.
As summer naturally carries the expansive, vibrant energy of yang, Guka and Drilon wanted to create a space that offers its complement: a chance to pause, soften, and reconnect with the quieter qualities that are just as essential: through stillness, conscious breathing, and meditation.
Together, they will guide a 90-minute immersive experience combining meditation and breathwork, thoughtfully created especially for this summer evening. Both are certified meditation and breathwork teachers trained through Just Breathe, alongside many years of experience teaching yoga in Zürich. Sharing these practices has become one of the deepest parts of their teaching, and they are excited to offer this journey together.
To make the experience even more immersive, each participant will receive a pair of wireless headphones. As you rest comfortably on your mat or blanket beneath the open sky, the guidance will be heard directly through the headphones, allowing the sounds of the city to gently fade into the background, so you can explore the landscape within.
The exact outdoor location in the city of Zürich will be shared closer to the event. Should the weather have other plans, the evening will take place at Yoga Nest Zentrum in Niederdorf.
Whether you already have a meditation or breathwork practice or are simply curious to experience it for the first time, you are warmly welcome.
Please bring:
- A yoga mat or blanket to lie on
- Comfortable clothing suitable for the weather
- A warm layer for later in the evening
// About Guka and Drilon //
Guka
Before founding Yoga Nest, Guka spent many years exploring yoga not only as a physical practice, but as a way of understanding herself and the world more deeply. What began on the mat gradually became a lifelong path of study, leading her to train extensively in Hatha Yoga, breathwork, meditation, philosophy, and sound. Along the way, she discovered that some of the most meaningful moments in practice happen not when we strive for more, but when we create enough space to simply listen.
Her teaching is rooted in traditional Hatha Yoga while embracing a modern, compassionate approach that welcomes every body and every level of experience. Whether guiding movement, meditation, or breathwork, Guka encourages curiosity over perfection, inviting students to reconnect with themselves through presence, awareness, and the simple rhythm of the breath.
For Guka, yoga is less about what happens on the mat and more about how it shapes the way we meet everyday life. Her hope is that each practice offers a place to pause, breathe, and leave feeling a little more grounded, connected, and at home within yourself.
Drilon
Before stepping onto this path of teaching yoga, I completed a PhD in physics. While I loved trying to understand the world through science, I eventually realized I knew far less about my own inner world. That realization led me to yoga, breathwork, and meditation. Practices that helped me slow down, reconnect with my body, and begin to understand the patterns that quietly shape the way I live.
My classes draw from Vinyasa and Hatha Yoga and are guided at a calm, mindful pace. I’m less interested in perfect shapes or performance, and more interested in creating a space where you can move with awareness, stay connected to your breath, and learn to listen to what your body is telling you. I also weave breathwork into my teaching to explore both activation and deep rest.
For me, yoga is not about becoming someone else. It’s about creating enough space to honestly meet who you already are. My hope is that every class offers an opportunity to slow down, reconnect, and leave feeling a little more at home in yourself.
