Inhalt
In preparation for more advanced practices of pranayama, we are also introducing a more advanced version of Bhramari pranayama, the bumblebee breath, where all the senses located in the head are closed using the fingers of both hands (shanmukhi mudra). The added brief breath retention at the end of both inhalation and exhalation will lead to the increase in the production of nitric oxide in the body, a chemical that has many positive benefits for the immune system (for a recent study on this, click here).
Additionally, as part of our gradual effort to positively reprogram the mind, a short reflection on the day ahead is added to the end of the asana and pranayama programme. This is best coupled with the late evening meditation called Review of the Day, which you will find in Additional Materials for this Practice Period.

En plus, Mahesh a été formé pendant plusieurs années en résident dans l'ashram de Munger, Inde durant un approfondissement spéciale nommé le "Sannyasa training" Mahesh pratique et étudie le Satyananda / Bihar Yoga depuis plus de neuf ans, presque la moitié de ce temps il l'a passé en formation à l'école du Bihar School of Yoga à Munger, en Inde. Il enseigne uniquement les cours ONLINE.
