Inhalt

In this session, you are introduced to the basic format of this class: Starting with (1) a short relaxation to quickly unwind after a busy day, we will go through (2) a few simple asanas to help loosen the body and prepare it for the practices of (3) pranayama, (4) mantra, and (5) meditation.

Throughout the entire programme, you will be asked to maintain a one-pointed focus on what is being done, as the practice of mental concentration is the most powerful method of lifting the mind from negative moods due to dissipation and stress accumulation.

However, in this process, you should not try too hard, and while the instructions are being given, remember that it is perfectly normal for the mind to be dissipated. In fact, according to yoga, fluctuation is the very nature of the mind, and once it stops, the mind as we know it ceases to exist (this being a good thing).

Therefore, the practice of concentration is really a practice of bringing the mind to the intended areas of focus again and again, like an unruly child - but just as in the case of an actual child, this is being done with love and understanding, not through force or coercion.

As you progress further and deeper on this path, you will soon find that spontaneous one-pointed focus - which is what we are looking for - really comes out of a combination of persistence, a positive attitude, and emotional involvement in the present moment. All this comes only through regular practice, which you are strongly encouraged to develop.

En plus, Mahesh a été formé pendant plusieurs années en résident dans l'ashram de Munger, Inde durant un approfondissement spéciale nommé le "Sannyasa training" Mahesh pratique et étudie le Satyananda / Bihar Yoga depuis plus de neuf ans, presque la moitié de ce temps il l'a passé en formation à l'école du Bihar School of Yoga à Munger, en Inde. Il enseigne uniquement les cours ONLINE.
