Yoga Nidra is referred to as "the sleep of the yogi" - a deeply rejuvenating practice to restore body & mind. Use as an alternative to a nap, to unwind at the end of the day or to find ease before sleep.
Recorded in the middle of the forest, this Yoga Nidra draws from multiple schools, it offers multiple rotations throughout the body, the main one being iRest and Himalayan inspired, breath awareness with the intention to connect us the cycles in nature and balance, opposites as well as an visualisation to feel connected. Settling and externalisation is supported in parts by the soothing sounds of the Kalimba instrument.
No previous yoga experience needed. Open to everyone. Caution due to possible triggers: Fire burning or becoming more aware of the exhale (fear of suffocating)
PROPS: use all the props that will bring comfort to your Savasana - blankets, warm socks, eye pillow, bolster... the cosier, the better!
